Melinda "Mindy" Sammon, was born on February 4, 1971 and entered eternal rest on December 5, 2020 at the age of 49. She is the loving daughter of Dorothy Akemon and the late Robert Sammon; beloved mother of Nicole VanNewhouse, Stephanie Lenz, and Steven Lenz; cherished grandmother of Mariah, Noah, Jonah, Jayden, and Jeremiah; and dear sister of Melissa Jones and Robert.

Melinda always loved big, was kind, and cared for many. She was happiest when spending time with her loved ones. She was compassionate and empathetic to others and a great friend to many.

Family will receive friends on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2020  at ST. AUGUSTINE CHURCH, 2486 W. 14TH STREET from 5 PM UNTIL TIME OF MEMORIAL SERVICE AT 6:30 PM.
