Robert J. Melvin

ROBERT JOSEPH MELVIN passed away peacefully from this life on December 23, 2020. Bob was born on July 25, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio to  Rita (nee Murray) and John Melvin (both deceased). A hard-working man, Bob lived for his family. His beloved wife of 35 years Patricia (nee Mihalik), daughters Laura Ann, Amy Lynn, and Meghan Marie, sons Joshua Daniel and Shane Matthew, and grandchildren Daniel, Nicolas, Dominic, Sophia, and Luka Robert were his greatest pride and joy. 

A gifted storyteller and avid sports fan, Bob loved the Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame Fighting Irish, watching thunderstorms roll in from his front porch, and spoiling his grandbabies.

Bob was the youngest brother of Kathleen Sull, Agnes Sull, Daniel, Patrick (deceased), Michael (deceased), Gerald, and Eileen Obergas, and cherished uncle and friend to many. 

If you knew Bob, his quick wit, and his sarcastic nature, consider yourself blessed. He will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends at ST. AUGUSTINE CHURCH, 2486 W. 14th STREET, on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2020  FROM 10 AM until time of MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL AT 11 AM. In compliance with state guidelines masks and social distancing will be observed.
